Now that you have completed your sensory presentation, reflect on which of the five senses you value most. Identify the sense and explain why it holds the greatest importance to you.

Prompt:
The sense I value the most out of all five is being able to see. There's a lot of beautiful views all over the world and if I didn't have the opportunity to see it, I think that I would be sad. I love hiking and being able to see all the beautiful waterfalls and the tall trees swaying back and forth.

Write about a book, poem, or article you’ve read that made you feel something deeply—whether it was joy, anger, sadness, or curiosity. What was the text, and what moment or message stood out to you the most?

Prompt:
One book that made me feel something deeply was *The Fault in Our Stars* by John Green. The story follows two teenagers, Hazel and Augustus, who both have cancer and fall in love while dealing with their illnesses. What stood out to me the most was the way they talked about life and death so honestly, especially when Augustus says, "You don't get to choose if you get hurt in this world... but you do have some say in who hurts you." That line made me feel both sad and thoughtful because it showed how love and pain can be connected. The book made me appreciate the little things in life and think more about how important it is to love people while you have the chance.

Write about what you did over the Spring Break.

Prompt:
Write about what you did over the Spring Break.
Over spring break, I was mostly in bed. I have my own crocheting business so I would just stay in bed crocheting most of the time. When I wasn't doing that, I went out to hand out with my cousins. Overall I wish I could've gone on vacation or go somewhere fun rather than stay at home.

Summary:
As a class we read a short story and answered questions.

Reflection:
I did very well on it and got them all right without having to change my answer.

Today’s article discussed how more people are choosing to live in the suburbs rather than in the city. When you become an adult, which lifestyle do you think you would prefer—city life or suburban life? Choose one and explain your reasons clearly.

Prompt:
When I become an adult, I would prefer to live in the suburbs rather than the city. Suburban life offers a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere, which would help reduce stress compared to the fast-paced, noisy environment of the city. There is typically more space for a home, including yards for outdoor activities, which would be perfect for having pets or raising a family. Additionally, suburban areas tend to have better schools, safer neighborhoods, and a stronger sense of community, which are important to me when choosing a place to live. While the city has its advantages, like being close to work and entertainment, the suburban lifestyle offers more comfort and peace for daily life.

Based on the two informational passages that you've read thus far this week, write about how you personally strive to avoid student loan debt?

Prompt:
To avoid student loan debt, I will look for scholarships and grants that I don't have to pay back. I will also work part-time to cover some of my expenses, so I don't need to borrow as much money. I also make sure to only take out loans for what I really need and not for extra things. By making these choices, I hope to keep my student debt as low as possible.

Tariffs are often designed to encourage people to buy American-made products. When you shop, do you check where products come from? Would you be willing to pay more for something made in the U.S.? Why or why not? 9th grade level paragraph ChatGPT said:

Promot:
When I shop, I don't always check where products come from, but I think it's important to consider where something is made. If a product is made in the U.S., I might be willing to pay a little more for it because it could support local businesses and workers. I understand that sometimes American-made products are more expensive because of higher labor costs, but I feel that it's worth it to help the economy and create jobs here. However, I would still want to make sure that the quality of the product is good and that the price is reasonable compared to other options. It's a balance between supporting the country and getting a good deal.
