One of my most special holiday memories was on new year's. On every holiday my extended family and I all hang out at someone's house. On New Years Eve of 2022, it was my favorite holiday the I can remember. My cousins and I participated in the little games our aunts and uncles came up with instead of staying inside just on our phones. That day showed me that we cannot take anything for granted and cherish every moment we have together.

I have received any gifts throughout my lifetime. I received gifts on my birthday, Christmas, just because but the best present I received was on Christmas. I am a huge coffee drinker. I love to get Starbucks just for the iced coffees. My mom paid attention to those small details and got me an espresso machine for Christmas.

A time I couldn't stop laughing was at a sleepover with my cousins Karol and Jocelin. Karol and Jocelin always make me laugh. We have been close with each other since we were young. We grew up like sister. Once at a sleepover a chip got stuck in Jocelin's throat and started coughing. After a few seconds of coughing she threw up in her hand and it fell all over the blanket we were going to sleep on. Since it wasn't anything serious me and Karol started laughing hysterically. We got everything on recording so once we showed Jocelin the video she started laughing as well.

Today we went to the auditorium so our counelors could help us with Naviance.

I think that this lesson was very important because it helps us narrow down our college choices.

A fear I have overcome is a fear over spiders. When I was younger, I used to be terrified of spiders. I would scream and run all over the place. As I got older, the fear of spiders went away. I realized that most spiders aren't dangerous. Spiders never hurt anyone, and I just got over the fear.

An unforgettable meal I ate is all of my moms meals. She makes home made food for us everyday. Even when she gets home from work tired she still cooks us an amazing meal. Something that I can't stop thinking about is the fact that I am growing up. I have dreamed about being an adult since I was a kid but now that I am close to becoming an adult, I'm nervous. I don't know what the future holds and that scares me. I am my parents' last child. My brothers had to grow up quick, so they have always seemed like adults to me. They are more than 6 years older than me. Becoming and adult is something that I can't stop thinking about.

Prompt Response:

A time when I was judged unfairly was in school. I just went into middle school, and I was excited. I went to the middle school my brothers went to, and they weren't very good students. They were class clowns and never got their work done. A specific teacher remembered them and didn't like me since the first day of school. I felt very upset that she was judging me just because of my brothers but no one is the same. The first fee weeks were bad but as the school year went on, she realized that I was nothing like them.

I liked the first chapter. It was very intriguing.

One conversation that changed me was a close family member who had recently traveled abroad. They shared their experiences of immersing themselves in different cultures, trying new foods, and meeting new people from different backgrounds. Listening to her stories made me realize how much there is to learn and experience outside of my own little bubble. It inspired me to one day travel abroad and change my perspective in the world.
