Today in class we worked together as a class to analyze the poem written by Emily Dickinson titled "I'm Nobody! Who are you?" It was an interesting poem and it was interesting to learn what the poem actually meant.

Today in class we independently worked on vocabulary. We searched up the definition, a picture, and explained how the picture correlated to the term. It was a pretty easy and fun assignment. I enjoyed this assignment.

Today in class we independently took a quick origin myth assessment. I could've done better on the assessment but I tried my best. The story was very interesting. It was about a man who thought his son was better than everyone. His son then turned into a robin. 

Today I felt happy because it is Friday.

 Today in class we independently worked on an article in Newsela. The article was about how the creation of Earth started with a girl falling through the sky. They kept trying to save her from underneath the world but every time they came back up they would die. Until the old lady toad went down and came back up. Which then before dying she spit dirt onto the turtle's back which expanded into creating the Earth. The story was very interesting and unique. I liked this assignment because the story kept me intrigued. 

Today I feel tired again.

Today in class we independently worked on our jam board. We continued what we were doing last week, which was working on our origin myth narratives. I learned how to use a jam board and to use my creativity to create what looks like a comic book. I like how we could use our creative imagination to develop a narrative. I feel like it helps me find the assignment fun and easier to do. I really liked coming up with my own narrative and turning it into what looks like a comic book.

Today I felt very tired.
